Terms & Conditions
1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Midlands Solar Solutions Ltd website (midlands-solarsolutions.co.uk) and any solar PV installation enquiries you submit through it.
By using this website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms. Midlands Solar Solutions Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17024499).
2. Website Information
The information on this website is provided for general guidance about solar PV installation enquiries. It does not constitute professional advice, a quotation, a contract, or a commitment to supply any service.
We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current, but we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or currency of any content on this website.
3. Solar PV Enquiries
Submitting a solar enquiry through our website or by email does not constitute a contract, booking, or commitment to supply or purchase any installation service.
Solar PV enquiries are subject to review, property-specific assessment, and, where appropriate, a physical survey before any design, scope of work, or installation is agreed.
We reserve the right to decline any enquiry where, following review, installation is not considered suitable, practical, or safe for the property in question.
4. Suitability and Survey Requirements
Roof suitability, system design, electrical requirements, access, and installation scope can only be confirmed following a property-specific review and, where appropriate, a survey. No suitability, generation estimate, or installation commitment is made based on an enquiry alone.
5. System Design and Installation Scope
Where a solar PV installation is agreed, the scope of work, system design, access requirements, electrical approach, and agreed timescales are confirmed in writing before installation begins.
System design is property-specific and shaped by survey findings. Panel count, system size, inverter choice, and battery storage options are all subject to property suitability, roof characteristics, and electrical requirements.
6. No Guaranteed Savings or Generation Claims
Midlands Solar Solutions Ltd makes no guarantees of energy savings, electricity bill reduction, solar generation output, payback periods, property value increases, energy independence, or financial returns. Any generation expectations depend on site-specific factors including roof orientation, shading, system size, panel performance, and usage patterns.
7. Certifications, Accreditations, and Registrations
Midlands Solar Solutions Ltd does not claim MCS certification, NICEIC approval, NAPIT approval, RECC membership, TrustMark registration, or any other industry accreditation unless explicitly verified, documented, and current. Any claims of certification would be confirmed in writing per enquiry or installation.
8. Warranties and Manufacturer Terms
Any product warranties applicable to solar panels, inverters, or battery storage equipment are provided by the relevant manufacturer and are subject to their own terms and conditions. Installer workmanship terms, where applicable, are confirmed in writing per installation.
9. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate property, roof, and electrical information as part of your enquiry
- Ensuring that you have the legal right to commission installation works on the property
- Notifying us of any planning conditions, listed building status, or relevant restrictions
- Ensuring safe access to the property and roof for survey and installation purposes
10. Payments
Payment terms, deposit requirements, and payment schedules are agreed in writing before any installation begins. Enquiries do not constitute a financial commitment.
11. Cancellations
Cancellation terms are agreed per installation contract. Enquiries may be withdrawn at any time without commitment.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, design, images, and structure — is the intellectual property of Midlands Solar Solutions Ltd or its content providers and is protected by applicable law. Reproduction without permission is not permitted.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Midlands Solar Solutions Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on website content, enquiry responses, or any failure to provide a service where that failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from use of this website or solar enquiries will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
